Books of the Week: 5/29/12

Ahhhh...Finals are over. Now I get to spend the summer reading, writing, and gaming. YES! But what's that you say? Get a summer job? Nah. It's not like I need the money THAT much... Besides, who'd hire me? I wouldn't. But I digress. This is a book review. What am I reviewing? Let's see... OH SWEET BABY CTHULHU ON A FLAMING STICK! Two, TWO, videogame novels? Ohhhhboy. This week's mockery--er, review--focuses on Halo: The Flood, Starcraft: Uprising, and The Ten Thousand.

Books of the Week: 5/22/12

Ahhh... Finals are almost over. One math test this afternoon, and I'm free. Free, do you hear me? FREE! Sorry... Anyway, I've somehow managed to keep up with my reading, so I can continue to provide you with "high-quality", occasionally entertaining, book reviews. Lucky you! This week, we have possibly the most varied trio of books yet: Metro 2033 (the game is based on the book, not the other way around), Assault on Black Reach (the ever-present Space Marine Battles novel), and Butcher Bird (a one-shot urban fantasy). New to this review is Krunk's Korner, where the famous (or infamous) Krunk delivers his own take on each book I review. If you've met Krunk, well, you know what to expect. If you haven't met Krunk--KRUNK AM ALWAYS GLAD TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS!

Books of the Week: 5/15/12

You should feel so blessed (or maybe cursed?). Despite my impending finals hanging over me like a red right hand, I'm still taking time to review books, saving you the misery of wasting your time and money. Aren't you lucky? AREN'T YOU? Anyway, for this week's regimen we have: One Warcraft (NOT Warhammer!) novel, one Space Marine Battles novel (as always), and one sci-fi novel that resisted easy classification through complete insanity.

Books of the Week: 5/1/2012

Another week, another batch of books. I'm pretty sure y'all know the drill by now. I read books, then review them the next week. Up on the chopping block this week we have: a Warhammer Fantasy Trilogy, a Warhammer 40K stand-alone novel, and a Star Wars one-shot novel. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
