Books of the Week: 8/28/2012

Sometimes I really hate you guys. Especially when I have to read dreck like this week's selection. There are other words I would use to describe the two books this week--a Star Wars novel and a Warhammer Fantasy novel--but they would summon Elder Gods and I don't like to do that on vacation.

Guess what time it is! It's BOOK REVIEW TIEM! YAAAY! ...Why don't you look excited? I'm hurt. And I got two (2) whole books read this week. It's like a record or something.

I'm baaaaaaaaack! Once again, I bring reviews of books both good and bad, because I'm just such a nice guy. Now, I just want to say: I know a lot of my reviews have been focused on Warhammer and Warhammer 40K. This will change. Eventually. Anyway, this week, our two books are a "hard" sci-fi novel and an old-school fantasy novel.

'Allo, everybody! Welcome back to another book review! Only two books again this week (sorry, I've been busy proofing my own writing), a Star Wars novel and a Warhammer 40K novel. I was shooting to also have 2001: A Space Odyssey finished, but I'm reading too slowly.

Books of the Week: 8/5/12

Well, it's that time again. Time for a book review blog! ...why don't you look more excited? It'll be fun, I promise. Not at all like reading bad fanfic. (Not that I would know what that's like...) This week, my selection of books was marginally better than the last batch (And Splinter of the Mind's Eye still haunts me.). As usual, there's the ubiquitous Warhammer 40K Battles novel, as well as a Halo novel, a Tolkein novella, and a darkly funny fantasy novel.
