Backlog Blitz: NES, Week 19, "SNAAAAAAAAKE!"

Well this week was fun. I royally screwed up someone's email account by deleting their calendar and notes--I blame Outlook. Outlook is terrible--and also managed to delete like 5000 songs' artist information in my music collection. So yeah. I'm in a mood to whine and moan about terrible NES games. We're getting towards the end of this journey, too! In the last third of the pile by now. Bet you thought I'd never make it. Anyway, here we goooooo!

Untimely Revue: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Season 1

Welcome to the first episode of Untimely Reviews here on Cthulhu Wept! I've done this before elsewhere, but it's time to do it here. Anyway, the target today is Avatar: The Last Airbender, Season One. Letsago!

You know, the first time I tried to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender, I couldn't even finish the first episode. Something just didn't jive with me. Whether that was my expectations going in, where I was in life, or just me having a bad day, I don't know. What I do know is that I've really enjoyed watching the first season (I'm around half-way through season two, and I need to pick it back up). What follows is based on my notes as I watched, organized roughly into sections, with some overlap in spots.

It's been a while! Life (well, school) hit me pretty dang hard for the last few months. Finally done with college, though. I've got my $160,000 piece of paper that says I can put words together good. Which is nice. And now I'm finally playing video games again. (Currently, The Witcher--the first game!--and retro games). Anyway, you're here to read about old games! Letsago!
