Ancient Ys: Vanished Origin
So the graphics are pretty bog-standard, the combat isn’t
amazing, the dialogue is okay, the controls are okay, the music is terrible…
Basically, this is about par for the course for a Master System game, is what
I’m saying. It’s not horrid, just…lackluster? I’m not feeling any draw. There’s
no desire to keep playing.
Bubble Bobble

Cool Spot
You know how sometimes it’s really obvious that a company is
trying desperately to have a hip, cool mascot? Cool Spot is one of those
attempts. It fails on so many levels. That is all.
Cyber Shinobi
This is the anti-Ninja Gaiden. Slow, clunky, unfun. And you
see that bar across the top half of the screen? There’s no way to make that
disappear. Seriously. This is…pretty atrocious. Everything about it is
sub-sub-par. The controls suck, the sound sucks, the gameplay sucks... The only good thing is the graphics, which aren't too bad.
